Malak Telecentro upgrades

The Malak Telecentro now has an ADSL+ Internet connection, which became operational on 3 August 2008, which provides up to 8Mb download and 384Kb upload speeds. This was a much needed upgrade with more and more people using the Telecentro over the past months. The new 8Mbit connection allows for more users to concurrently access and upload
multimedia content. Three more computers have also been installed at Chambers Crescent Theatre, for use mainly by the Homework Club on Thursday afternoons; these computers are connected (wirelesslly) to the Telecentro's network. In addition, up to four computers from the newly-established DCA office (in Shop 9 of Malak Shopping Centre) will also access the 8Mb connection wirelessly.
